Vaccine Passports and Border Crossing
Cyprus - Starting May 10, travelers from 65 countries who have received all required jabs won’t need to take a COVID-19 test or go into quarantine.
Greece - Vaccinated travelers from the US, the EU, the UK, South Korea, Australia and a few other countries are allowed quarantine-free entry.
Bulgaria - Regardless of their citizenship, vaccinated travelers can enter the country, if they have a document that shows completed vaccination against the COVID-19.
The Bahamas - Vaccinated Americans can skip the Covid-19 test starting May 1.
Barbados - Starting May 8, Barbados is reducing quarantine requirements for vaccinated travelers to 1-2 days.
Grenada - From May 1, quarantine periods will be reduced from a week to no more than 48 hours for vaccinated travelers. The travelers still need to test negative before and after arriving in Grenada and its dependent territories of Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
Saba - Has lifted its quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated visitors starting May 1.
French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea and other “Islands of Tahiti”) - Effective May 1, immunized US travelers will be allowed entry. Testing requirements apply.
St. Kitts and Nevis - Eases COVID-19 protocols for fully vaccinated persons, effective May 1. Quarantine is reduced from 14 to 9 days.Denmark - Fully vaccinated EU citizens & residents can now travel to and from Denmark, effective May 1.
Domestic Use of Vaccine Passports
Hungary - Effective May 1, Hungary loosens COVID restrictions for those with government-issued immunity cards. Indoor dining rooms, hotels, theaters, cinemas, spas, gyms, libraries and museums will become available to vaccinated residents.
Bahrain - Starting 12 May, vaccinated residents will be able to attend gyms, indoor restaurants, mass sporting events, conferences, spas and cinemas.
At the same time, all Kuwaiti citizens who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be prohibited from traveling abroad starting May 22, 2021.
Border Controls
Seychelles - COVID-19 measures tightened nationwide through May 21, however International travel restrictions remain unchanged.
Costa Rica's borders remain open to international tourism, despite the May 3-9 lockdown.
Belarus opens more border crossing points on the Lithuanian border.
In Cameroon, land and sea borders remain closed to international travel. Air borders also remain largely closed, but authorities have permitted several flights.
Chilean borders are to remain closed through May. Chilean and foreign nationals will be prohibited from leaving the country for the duration of the border closure with narrow exceptions.
The emergency epidemic situation in Bulgaria has been extended until 31 May. Entry to Bulgaria is forbidden for arrivals from India, Bangladesh, Brazil and some territories in South Africa.
Flights to Peru from Brazil, South Africa and the UK are suspended until May 15, 2021.
